It’s been a while since I’ve last posted a blog post, sent the bladder-help newsletter out or engaged with the Facebook page. I apologize for the radio silence!
I appreciate anyone still reading this blog and I thought I’d give a brief explanation on why I have been silent and what my plans are going forward.
Why I stopped blogging
Ever since I embarked on my journey of trying to heal from IC/chronic bladder infections I’ve been obsessed with researching health topics and have eventually completed a diploma in Nutritional Therapy to be able to help others. I’ve constantly worked on further improving my own health and have started working with clients on improving their own health.
But then there came a time when I was suddenly all ‘healthed-out’. I just needed a break from constantly reading, thinking and writing about diet and health and therefore found it very hard to write any new blog posts.
At the same time, I had become busier with work and I fell pregnant with my first child. Once I had my baby (just over a year ago now), getting started again became even harder (as you can probably imagine).
For a while now, I’ve been keen on re-starting the blogging and lockdown has brought along some free time (and boredom), so I’ll hopefully have some new content coming soon!
Plans
My plan is to bring you more information on all things bladder health – underlying factors of bladder conditions, as well as more actionable information on what to do to support bladder health.
As a nutritional therapist/functional medicine practitioner I have been working with clients 1-on-1 on their bladder health and I have plans to expand my offering to online group programs in the future.
I am also planning some Facebook live sessions at some point, so be sure to follow the Facebook page to stay up to date!
That’s it for now, until very soon!

February 12, 2021Hi Layla good to hear you’re back. I have struggled for years with bladder health problems but can honestly say I have improved by 70/80% in the last year! Thankfully had a lot of help before lockdown with having bladder installations on a regular basics at Addenbrookes in Cambridge a few physiotherapy sessions plus have found natural products chamomile in particular and also now taking Amytripline ( very low dose) which I avoided for years but now helps me very much particularly thru the night. If you want to discuss or if I can help others with what I’ve found to help after years of misery with this dreadful condition please contact me.
